Abstract: Monodispersed NaEuF4 submicron disks assembled from nanocrystals exhibit prominent red emission under the excitation of UV light, low-voltage electron beam, and commercial blue light-emitting diode. These disks would have potential applications in solid-state lighting, field emission displays, etc.
