Abstract: A multimode polymer optical fiber random laser with coherent and resonant feedback is demonstrated. The gain medium is a Rhodamine 640-perchlorate-doped polymer fiber core, and the optical feedback is provided by multiple scattering of light between TiO2 nanoparticles in the core. The emission spectrum exhibited discrete narrow lasing linewidths when focused optical pumping above lasing threshold. It was observed that the number of lasing modes, their spectral positions, and modes spacing were the same for repeated single-shot pumping above threshold.
