台灣中區13 所大學圖書館館藏分析調查與合作經驗 : 開展區域合作館藏發展新扉頁

Abstract

Facing challenges of the budget cut and price increase, university libraries worldwide endeavor to engage cost savings via various strategies. Participating consortia is definitely a popular one nowadays. “Developing Interlibrary Collection Collaboration Project,” part of Central Taiwan Teaching/Learning Resource Center Project (CTTLRC Project), which runs during 2009, aims to develop better co-operation among 13 university libraries in acquiring and sharing interlibrary collection resources. Feng Chia University is the center university to work with the other 12 partner universities. This paper is to illustrate the process and the performance of the project. First, a survey was used to analyze the 13 members’ library collection. A proper collection policy was developed accordingly, which assisted the consortium to build collection effectively. The effectiveness is evaluated and the problems for future consortia are discussed. 大學圖書館面臨預算被刪減與書刊費用不斷上漲的挑戰，紛紛運用不同策略因應之。其中，積極參加聯盟合作的方式，已被認為是具有相當成效的策略之一。「發展跨校館藏合作機制」是台灣中區區域教學資源中心計畫之一項子計畫，主要希望透過跨校合作方式，促進13 所大學圖書館資源共享。本計畫於2009 年實施，首先進行合作館藏分析，訂定良好、適當的合作館藏發展政策，建立符合13 所大學教師與學生需求的館藏資源。本文主要介紹計畫的發展背景以及主要的運作模式，包含合作館藏問卷調查分析、建立合作館藏發展政策以及訂定聯盟採購策略等，同時藉由計畫的執行成果，探討未來長期區域合作館藏發展的問題，並進一步提出建議與結論。
