Abstract: OBJECTIVE: To compare the sulforaphane contents in seeds of Cruciferous plant. METHODS: Sulforaphane content in various genuses and producing area was assayed by RP-HPLC. RESULTS: The contents of sulforaphane in seeds of Cruciferous plant were variable, the content of sulforaphane of broccoli seed was highest and showed to be 4.748 mg · g-1. CONCLUSION: Broccoli seed was the optimum material for preparing sulforaphane.
