Abstract: By designing multiple single-mode cores across the multimode fiber core area, this new multimode fiber can support only the fundamental mode or fewer low-order modes propagation to some extent. Therefore, the modal dispersion of the multimode fiber has been suppressed greatly, and the bandwidth is enhanced 6.5 times.
