Abstract: The graphical controls are used to plot the drawings of the control and signal system for substation. The connected relations of graphical controls, devices and electrical components are analyzed on the basis of the drawings, and as a result the common simulation model of the control and signal system for substation is established. With a view to the facts that the model is made up of many self-governed modules, and there are lots of on-off electrical components in them, such methods as equivalent-node, separate-module, treetopelimination, partial modification and distributed calculating are applied to speed up the simulation.
