Abstract: A highly symmetric zinc(II) complex with{[Zn(tren)] 4(μ 4-ClO 4)} 7+ structure unit (tren=tris(2-aminoethyl)amine) was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and was understood by the calculation from the MNDO method.
