Title: A Good Flipped Classroom Case 16 from HTI

Abstract: This case study showcases the successful implementation of the flipped classroom approach in the course "Radiotherapy Patient Management" (HTI39103), taught by Professor LEE Wee Yee, Shara from the Department of Health Technology and Informatics. It explains the rationale for adopting the flipped classroom model, describes the step-by-step implementation process, evaluates its positive impact on student learning, and discusses the challenges encountered.The study also highlights best practices, such as enhancing students’ real-life experience through virtual technology, providing opportunities for immediate peer evaluation and teacher feedback, and utilizing an AI chatbot to assess student learning performance. Overall, the case demonstrates challenges including a lack of manpower, insufficient time for debriefing sessions to enrich student learning, and the limitations of the HiVE platform.
