Abstract: This case study showcases the effective adoption of the flipped classroom approach in the course "Imaging Anatomy" (HTI17102), led by Prof. LAW Ka Wai, Helen and Ms. SO Kit Ming, Moon from the Department of Health Technology and Informatics. It explains the reasoning behind choosing the flipped classroom model, describes the step-by-step implementation process, evaluates its positive effects on student learning, and addresses the challenges faced during the transition.The study also highlights best practices, such as using pre-class videos for revision, selecting appropriate technologies to support diverse learning activities, and employing various strategies to motivate students. Overall, the case illustrates the ongoing challenges of sustaining student engagement and managing teachers’ time effectively.
