The novel FRP confined concrete column comprises a concrete core which is cylindrical and an FRP sleeve sleeving the concrete core. The FRP confined concrete column further comprises an anti-crack material layer arranged between the concrete core and the FRP sleeve, the anti-crack material layer is made of anti-crack materials, and the anti-crack material layer can generate a plurality of micro-cracks when the concrete core generates local large cracks due to the fact that the concrete core bears compression loads, so that local stress and strain are redistributed.
