| Title: | A novel application of deformation monitoring using GNSS-R technology | Authors: | Yang, Y Zheng, Y Yu, W Weng, D Li, W Chen, W |
Issue Date: | 2019 | Source: | Pacific PNT Proceedings, PNT 2019, p. 646-654 | Abstract: | GNSS reflectometry can be considered as a new type of remote sensing technology using GNSS signals as the resources. The application of using GNSS-R technology for deformation monitoring has been presented in this paper. A prototype of GNSS-R deformation monitoring system has been developed based on GNSS software receiver technology. The 3D geometrical model of signal reflection has been researched to reveal the relationship between the change of carrier phase difference and the target deformation. After compensating the propagation path error caused by satellite movement, the changes in the remaining carrier phase difference are linked to the deformation. An experiment has been conducted to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method and the potential accuracy for deformation monitoring. | Publisher: | Institute of Navigation | Journal: | Pacific PNT Proceedings | EISSN: | 2331-6284 | DOI: | 10.33012/2019.16831 | Description: | Proceedings of the ION 2019 Pacific PNT Meeting, April 8 - 11, 2019, Hilton Waikiki Beach, Honolulu, Hawaii | Rights: | Posted with permission of the author.
